Front Row FX is a Minnesota-based audiovisual production company led by brothers Marcelo and Mateo Carrillo.
Our story begins with a family tradition of hospitality, service and responsibility passed from one generation to the next.
A FAMILY FOUNDATION
We Learned to Care for the Experience Before We Learned the Equipment
Long before Front Row FX, our family understood how to welcome people, anticipate needs and take responsibility for the way an experience feels.
Later, our path took us to Atlanta, Georgia, where we worked around live events and larger productions. There, we learned that successful events depend on far more than equipment: they require planning, timing, technical control and people who remain calm when the room is moving quickly.
Hospitality shaped how we serve. Live production shaped how we execute.

Mateo leads the technical side of Front Row FX with an exceptional eye for detail and a natural understanding of complex systems.
His work spans LED screen systems, video processing, programming, event lighting and production management—connecting what happens behind the scenes with what the audience ultimately experiences.
For Mateo, the production must look intentional, operate reliably and be ready when the room opens.
CREATIVE & STRATEGIC DIRECTION

Marcelo approaches each event through strategy, communication and the experience of the people inside the room.
His legal education at Mitchell Hamline School of Law strengthened his ability to evaluate complexity, identify risk and organize decisions clearly.
Today, that perspective guides client relationships, creative direction, production planning and the continued growth of Front Row FX.
